  The sandstone is consistent in quality, has no cross bedding
  with an even fine grain. Its compressive strength and great
  durability places it among the world’s best “freestones”. This can be attributed to the lack of carbonates as a binding material and in its place is a secondary silica binder.
  
  APPLICATION Sandstone from Irishtown can be diamond cut / split to almost any practical size for
  the building and landscaping industry.
